This position is for a Big Data Analysis who will be working on a key initiative for 2016 which will focus on data analysis from a big data environment. Job Role: The following are the responsibilities for this position: - Analytics of data from a big data environment - Creation of reports and dashboards which will consists of data analysis, trending, forecasting, etc... - Data extraction, transformation, and load between Hadoop, Tableau, R Studio, and TD Aster Required Skills - at least three years of experience of the following: - Excellent knowledge of *Hadoop, Tableau, R Studio, and TD Aster* - Hand-on experience with one or more scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, PHP, HTML5 - Effective communication skills - Self starter with the ability to work independently as well as working in a team environment - Excellence skills with MS Office suite (specifically with Excel and PowerPoint) - Understand key components and values on financial projections based off data analysis *Req 2)* *Clarity Developer* Preferred Work Location is *Little Rock, AR* - but open to having the consultant work at the following VZ sites as well: Orangeburg, NY; Piscataway, NJ; Alpharetta, GA; Walnut Creek, CA As a Software Developer job responsibilities include working with user representatives to gather and understand business, functional and technical requirements. This person must also possess CA Clarity system development/implementation experience within large organizations and understand software lifecycle development and release management principles. This person must be strong technically, but have a understanding of business and operational processes to ensure the solution closely matches the needs of the corporation. This position requires frequent contact with client staff to assess, recommend, and develop technical solutions to automate, integrate, and enhance operational systems and processes.
