*Role: Hadoop ETL Developer*
*Location: Wilmington, DE*
*Duration: Long term contract*
- Will hire off of phone/skype
- MUST HAVE: *hive, spark, python and SQL*
*NOTE : NEED EAD ,EAD-GC,GC, USC on W2 Only*
*Top Three Skills:*
1. 1-2 years development experience with Hive, Spark & Python
2. Basic Java experience
3. Batch Processing for data extraction and analysis
*Person should have a good understanding of SQL (5 yrs experience). Hive is
basically SQL.
*Pythons and Shell Scripting experience (1 – 5 years). This expertise will
help create the batch processes.
*Job Description:*
Client is looking for an ETL developer with 1-2 years of experience with
Hadoop Ecosystems. This includes Hive, Spark, and Python. Basic Java
knowledge is also a plus. The project involves retrieving data from
different sources and the producing it into a different format to send to
the end client, Clickfox. Clickfox is a company that does data analytic so
JPMIS is providing them data to do analysis for JPMC. This candidate's day
to day activities will involve a lot of data extraction and transformation.
The most important thing is that this person be proficient in Hive and
hadoop ecosystems as well as some java background. This candidate must have
real life, working experience with hadoop. An individual with only POC
experience will not be sufficient.
This is a pure developer role. This candidate must be able to write code in
Hive, spark, and python. They will need to write a complete ETL, end to end
tool in order to do the data extraction. All of this will be through batch
processing, (they are researching streaming.)
