Interview Mode : Telephonic/Skype No H1-b Currently, we’re looking for a Senior *Database Developer/Analyst* to join our team. *Position overview* You’ll be using your database experience to plan, design and implement solutions that use database development tools, predominately around the MS SQL Server platform. You’ll be interacting with developers and end-users to determine reporting, interface and application data access requirements and other data required to develop and maintain integrated databases. You will also provide assistance with internal and external data management, analyzing organizational performance, business modeling and reporting needs. *What you’ll be doing* - *Conducting studies, gathering and analyzing data from various databases and sources, and developing reports, summaries, recommendations and visual representations* - Troubleshooting data issues, validating result sets, and recommending and implementing process improvements - *Developing and/or maintaining databases* and provide consultation and technical assistance to a wide variety of clients; advises and assists clients in determining the appropriate analytical methodology to meet their needs and objectives - Confirming project requirements by studying user requirements; conferring with others on project team - Maintaining client confidence and protecting operations by keeping information confidential - Translating data into easy-to-understand deliverables - Acting as backup to the Database Administrator, including: - Database backup and recovery - Database cloning using *Snap Manager* - Spotlight utility review alerts to diagnose and repair issues - Database tracing with SQL Profiler - SQL job failures and start/stop SQL services *What you need to succeed* - Five to 10 years of experience supporting *MS SQL Server environments*- *Currently using SQL 2008R2 and SQL 2014* - Excellence in troubleshooting and resolving data problems - *Experience developing with SQL Server Business Analysis Tools (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)* - *Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL code and design, including stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes and constraints* - Ability to decipher business requirements into a detailed design - Experience working in a healthcare or pharmaceutical environment is beneficial - Ability to communicate complex ideas in simplified ways - Attention to detail, ensuring analysis leads to correct conclusions - Ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams in an agile development process *Thanks* *Ankit Nagar* *Sr. Recruiter | Source Infotech Inc.
