Please go through the requirement and Let me know if you would be interested and get back to me with your updated resume and following information ASAP. *DB2 DBA* *Lansing, MI* *12+ Months* *Phone Hire* *Any Visa is OK (But NO H1’s) !!* *Requirements :* • Version upgrades • Apply software maintenance • Problem resolution • Maintain performance statistics database (collection, summarization, load) • Create/maintain Views, SQL, Cognos, & REXX related to stats collection & reporting • System-level monitoring & tuning • Interfaces with operating system components • DB2 Text search support & maintenance on DB2 & Linux servers • DB2 Catalog & Directory copies, recoveries, & reorgs DB2 Tools and utilities • BMC Admin, utility, & monitoring software installation, software maintenance, & version upgrades • BMC software customization, integration, & problem determination DB2 Security • Maintain the infrastructure between ACF2/DB2 and DB2 including the security administration role-based design • Maintain the ACF2 security rule extract database • Maintain views, SQL, automated reports, and ad-hoc reporting to support DB2 security DB2 Application Support • Provide technical support for application DBA’s and developers • Provide application SQL tuning and reporting • Provide application problem resolution Misc • Provide information to support DB2 internal & external audits • Support DB2 disaster recovery • Support process automation using REXX code and other tools for: o Reorg automation o Partition truncation o Security regression testing o Utility regression testing • Support / create Cognos reports for DB2 availability, CPU consumption, Security, etc *Thanks* *Ankit Nagar* *Sr. Recruiter | Source Infotech Inc.
