You will also work closely with software and system engineers on design, performance, standards and change control for many custom applications that leverage Oracle. Duties and Responsibilities: • Ensure availability and performance of Oracle databases (OLTP and OLAP servers and processes) • Be part of the on call rotation. • Proactively monitor the database systems to ensure availability, scalability, and performance. • Own the process of database quarterly security updates • Review, implement and release database changes as submitted by the development team. • Work closely with the software development team to improve standards and process.
