JOB TITLE: Release Management Engineer



SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical leadership in the development and implementation of RM
processes.

• Ensure that RM processes support build and deployments for the assigned
projects and applications.

• Has advanced understanding of project and program management,
comprehensive knowledge of project management methodology and software
development lifecycle (SDLC)

• Maintain deployment and build schedules for projects and applications.

• Continuous enhancement of the RM process to support required business
needs.

• Facilitate RM Process Meetings.

• Design/lead process automation.

• Facilitate communication of RM process changes to appropriate groups.

• Estimating RM effort at the program level.

• Facilitating audit requests.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education or equivalent: BS in computer or related field.



Qualifications / Skills Requirements:

• 5+ years of diverse experience in applying software change practices in
large, multi-platform environment organizations. Demonstrated experience in
developing, implementing, and managing software and hardware configuration
management functions. Experience in leading a team in performing
program-based as well as ongoing operational responsibilities. Proven
ability to develop a team. Innovative and strategic thinking required, as
well as a track record of success implementing solutions that result in
measurable business benefits.

• 3+ years of diverse experience in release management practices in large,
multi-platform environment organizations. Manages multiple project
schedules, coordinates and/or mitigates potential software or hardware
project conflicts within the organization.

• Excellent analytical and communications skills



Required Skills:

Must have developed release management processes for a large program
previously.

Must be able to manage various environments: QA, Stage, Production,
Training.

Must be able to understand software control systems and promotion of code.

Must be collaborative and able to work with the existing project team,
Shared Services and 3rd party vendors.

Must be willing to travel to Dublin, Ohio Corp offce approximately 25% of
time.

Agile processes and management of automated release management processes
are desirable, but not a must.
