Our Biotech client is looking for a Business Analyst/Project Manager with
Workday experience for  a 6 Month contract in Cambridge, MA.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The consultant will be the lead business analyst and project manager for
multiple IT projects supporting Biogen’s HR function and will be fully
accountable for successful project delivery. This person is responsible for
the overall planning, management and execution for the project. This
project primarily serves the HR team and the position will report directly
to the IT Functional Lead and dotted line to the IT Portfolio Manager.

The resource is responsible for successful project delivery to meet
business outcomes, which includes developing a well-structured project plan
that clearly defines the scope, resource requirements, timeline, and budget
for the project. This BA/PM will have experience implementing solutions
integrating Workday to other systems

The BA/PM is responsible for the following tasks:
• Collaborate with IT functional teams and business resources on
appropriate solutions
• Performs business and system analysis to drive the solution decision and
implementation
• Create the project schedule and manages the project according to the
schedule, budget, and scope
• Identify the team structure and actively manage the team in a matrixed
organization
• Leads and manages project from project initiation through implementation
• Facilitates the definition of project mission, goals, milestones, tasks,
deliverables and resource requirements
• Develops and maintains project plans, status reports, issue logs, and
other SDLC artifacts such as user requirements & system requirements
• Effectively communicates project status, issues, schedule and
accomplishments to various management and stakeholder groups, as needed
• Builds coalitions among various stakeholders and negotiates/escalates as
needed to move project forward
• Leads change management activities in close collaboration with project
and extended team members

MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Required skills:
• Strong business analysis and project management skills, min. 5 years’
experience
• Multiple experiences implementing HR solutions (Workday) – must be able
to hold functional and technical conversations
• HR business acumen
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Fluent English (oral and written)
• Strong process and methodology knowledge
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Additional highly desired skills
• Experience implementing integrated IT solutions
• Working knowledge of Oracle e-Business suite
• Experience in the pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry
• Experience in organizational change management
