This Thursday at Change, Jackie Logan and Richard Anderson will be discussing their recent work with PATH in Tanzania to derive the requirements for an electronically supported national Tuberculosis (TB) surveillance system. The goal of TB surveillance programs is to detect new cases of the disease and enroll patients in treatment programs. Jackie and Richard will describe the process of bringing together stakeholders to discuss current methods of TB surveillance and defining the necessary characteristics of an electronic surveillance system.
