i've gotten a few emails from people who want to find out more about
such programs (both masters and phd).
for those interested in the technical side of ictd uw, berkeley,
gatech, mit, cmu, nyu all have faculty who do some form of academic
and technical ictd. based on papers at conferences, i'd say uw,
berkeley and gatech have the most active faculty and students. i tend
to know about the universities in the states, but uct in cape town and
makere in kampala are also quite active.
for those interested in the development side of ictd, i have no clue.
try {information, business,economics,policy,health} schools and
drilling down from there.
i've put up a public document at http://goo.gl/jY1rj. if we pool our
knowledge, perhaps we can get a reasonable list of going. we will need
a champion of this effort, so send me an email if you are interested.
once we get a good list, we can make this a resource for the ictd
community.
