Eric is one of the pioneers on the technology side of ICTD research, founder of the Federal Search Foundation, which built FirstGov (now USA.gov)<http://www.usa.gov/>, the portal for the US government, and he was founder and Chief Scientist of Inktomi Corporation, now part of Yahoo!
