Two jobs from http://www.aidinfo.org/about-us/recruitment.

> Open Data Specialist/IATI Delivery Manager

Our vision is that aid information should be available easily to
people across developing and developed countries. It should be
presented in an easy to understand, comparable, and accessible format,
in ways that are relevant to users' unique perspectives.

To support our vision, one of our areas of focus is the International
Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI). We are an active member of the
Secretariat and Steering Committee, and also manage the IATI Technical
Advisory Group (TAG) secretariat, which is responsible for the
practical aspects of making IATI happen. This involves developing and
managing the standards and IATI infrastructure (websites/registry);
supporting organisations to become transparent in-line with the IATI
standard; outreach; and supporting accessibility initiatives.

To help us deliver on the IATI potential, we are now recruiting an
open data specialist to manage our work for the IATI TAG. This is an
exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the transparency and
accountability of international aid, and play a leading role in a
truly international open data initiative.

It now is a crucial time for IATI: it has reached critical mass. With
the recent addition of the US as a signatory donors providing 80% of
official aid are now committed to being 'IATI-compliant', as well as
many other NGOs, UN agencies, private organisations etc. We now need
to make it happen and ensure it is effective. We have ambitious plans
over the coming year and are looking for someone who can lead and
deliver them.

> Capacity Development Manager

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will provide capacity
development support to development actors who wish to access
information on aid and other resources targeted at reducing poverty.
The role includes: (a) identification of relevant capacity building
needs for these actors; (b) delivery of capacity building support; (c)
brokering capacity building support from other organisations; and (d)
coordinating the implementation of the programme.

The role is based in Nairobi and you will work closely with colleagues
based in the UK. The capacity support work in Africa will also link to
aidinfo's other areas of focus, including management of capacity
building support to reproductive health and education NGOs and
management of relationships with training providers and open data and
technology groups in Africa.

This is a unique opportunity to use your skills to make a real
contribution to supporting the accountability work of civil society in
developing countries and to improve the effectiveness of resources for
poverty reduction.
