Subject: [Emerge-l] e/merge 2012: Final Call for Proposals
To: [email protected]

Dear colleagues,

This is the final call for proposals for presentations, panels and
workshops for the e/merge 2012 online conference which will be live
from 9th to 20th July. We invite proposals in the form of abstracts of
up to 500 words by Friday 8th June 2012.  All proposals should be sent
by e-mail to [email protected]. Authors will be eligible to
submit final papers after e/merge for a special issue of the African
Journal of Information Systems.

e/merge 2012: Open to Change focuses primarily on how the use of
educational technology in African universities is responding to (and
sometimes anticipating) profound changes in the environment
experienced by university management, educational technologists,
educators and students. We will also consider proposals relating to
emerging practices in educational technology use globally and to the
effective use of educational technology in primary and secondary
education in Africa. Proposals from colleagues in other regions are
most welcome.

Please circulate this call to all potentially interested colleagues
through your mailing lists, websites, blogs and social networks.

Best wishes

:)

Tony Carr
