As many of you know, the first ICT4Drinks<https://www.flickr.com/search/?sort=relevance&text=ict4drinks> Seattle event was recently (and very successfully!!) held, hosted by our lovely, generous guests in town from DC, Wayan Vota<https://twitter.com/wayan_vota> and Merrick Schaefer<https://twitter.com/unimps>.
Given the fantastic turnout, enthusiasm before, during, and after the event, and much recognition and expression that Seattle needs more (and regular) ICTD events, I'm spearheading the effort to make and keep ICT4Drinks Seattle (and other technology & development events, such as potential TechSalons<http://technologysalon.org/>, in Seattle) a regular event. (I already have a number of people on-board to help me (thank you in advance!), but please do let me know if you'd like to participate as well - the more, the merrier.)
