Hi all, Mercy Corps is hiring a great global ICT4D Role. It’s a multi-hat position: Hat 1—Field Implementor: Work directly with field teams to design and implement ICT4D components of Mercy Corps programming across our 40+ countries. This is a very broad mandate, and because Mercy Corps works in so many sectors, there will be opportunity to work on everything from disaster response to education, economic development, ag, livelihoods, conflict resolution, youth employment etc… Hat 2–Researcher, Educator, Trainer: When not working with (and in) the field, the role focuses on research (keeping up with trends, identifying opportunities to apply tech to MCs work) and internal ICT4D education, including managing an internal community of practice among all MC staff. We need a GSD technologist, who loves travel, and who also has good communications skills and enjoys teaching and guiding people.
