ACM DEV-6, December 1 - 2, 2015 London, England Call for Participation! http://acmdev.org
DEV 2015 provides an international forum for research in the design, implementation, and evaluation of information and communication technologies (ICTs) for social and economic development. In particular, we focus on contexts where conventional computing solutions are often inappropriate due to various contextual factors - including, but not limited to: cost, language, literacy, and the availability of power and bandwidth. The program for this year’s DEV is out! Please visit http://acmdev.org/program.php to take a look. Highlights include two keynotes - the first by Ken Banks, founder of kiwanja.net and creator of FrontlineSMS; and the second by Ed Cutrell, from Microsoft Research India. ACM DEV will be co-located with the IRTF GAIA workshop, to be held on November 30 http://acmdev.org/gaia.php The early registration deadline is November 15. Register now for the best rates! We hope to see you there!
