A well-financed rural connectivity start-up is looking for a Technical
Director (CTO), Finance Director (CFO) and Compliance Director. It
will deploy network throughout rural Peru, from the high Andes to the
Amazon basin bringing internet connectivity to millions. The company
is structured as a lean (~40 employees), fast moving start-up that
needs to disrupt traditional network operations to reach aggressive
cost targets. The positions are in Lima and the candidates must be
fluent in Spanish.

*Technical Director*
- Lead the overall deployment and operations of the network and
platforms that support the company.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the services offered by
- Design and implement the service network in an efficient way that
enables commercial opportunities, taking advantage of innovative
technologies and processes appropriate for rural areas.
- Responsible for the design, organization and implementation of IT
technologies, initiatives and projects
- Lead technical and commercial pilots with different suppliers and
partners, such as Facebook and Google, with the aim of enhancing and
expanding services

- Experience in technical areas of a telco operator (Engineering,
Network Planning and Operations), ideally with prior experience in
rural areas.
- Technical experience should include radio access, local backhaul,
and network operations.
- Ability to manage complex infrastructure investment projects
- Knowledge and practical experience in agile methodologies
- Experience in the management of multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management

*Finance Director*
- Responsible for ensuring the proper administration of the company,
managing the company's resources and controlling the annual revenue
budget, OpEx and CapEx.
- Set financial policies that promote the culture and vision of the company.
- Evaluate new opportunities to ensure that resources are focused on
the best opportunities.
- Ensure the company's compliance of all current laws and regulations
related to the business operation.
- Create and manage the annual operating budget.

- Experience in a controlling or financial position ideally in sectors
with extensive infrastructure Capex
- Rigorous management of numbers and financial information
- Capacity to communicate with stakeholders and inform them promptly
of the evolution of the business
- Identification and validation of new business opportunities
- Financial negotiations
- Ability to link operational activities to financial results
