Hello Danilo, Perhaps it is a problem with the IB HCA device file permissions. If you do as your user:
ibv_devinfo It should print the HCA information, otherwise that is the problem. If it prints the info then..., have you modified the env vars after compiling gasnet ? If you modify the GASNET env vars in some cases you must do a "make clobber;make" to recompile everything. The error means that your program cannot open the HCA, this can mean some error in the gasnet config, that is why I wrote you the above paragraph. As it says do : export GASNET_BACKTRACE=1 And execute again, no recompile needed in this case. If it gives information it can be sent to the chapel list.
