Thanks for sending in this bug report. This is a known issue that we have
unfortunately been slow in correcting. It's listed in the STATUS file as:
- Recursive records result in function resolution error or internal
compiler error.
I could've sworn that at some point in the past we printed a better error
message for at least the simple case of a recursive record:
record Foo {
var foo: Foo;
}
but can't find any sign of it now, so perhaps I imagined it.
