The 1.9 release is coming up over the horizon. The current proposed dates
for freezing the code base are as follows:
Mar 25 : feature freeze
Apr 1 : code freeze
Apr 4 : doc freeze + cut branch
Apr 17 : release
Please give a shout if you see a problem with any of these dates. Also,
if you have a significant piece of code that you are hoping to get in by
the feature freeze, please let us know so that we can anticipate it.
