Hi Chapel Developers The 1.11.0 release is scheduled for Thursday, April 2, 2015. The important dates are:
Tue Mar-10 - Feature Freeze Tue Mar-17 - Code Freeze Tue Mar-24 - Documentation Freeze Thu Apr-02 - Open Source Release "Feature Freeze" will include all major features, language changes, significant refactors, etc. "Code Freeze" will include any remaining bug fixes, changes to test/release/examples/, and it is expected that the source code will not change after that date for release (typically we cut a release branch at this time). "Documentation Freeze" will include any remaining spec, README, man page, etc updates. That leaves just over a week before the release date for testing and fleshing out any final issues. Thanks!
