Hi,
I'm Kapil Kumar Singh, a pre-final year student at Indian Institute of
Technology, Roorkee and I would like to contribute to the Chapel community
through GSoC-2016.
I felt a deep interest towards the projects of chapel when I came across
the organization. I have had rigorous low level training in my
undergraduate curriculum, mostly in two of my courses entitled "Compiler
Design" and "System Software". I also have in-depth knowledge of C++ and
have worked seamlessly with assembly languages (x86, MIPS) in Operating
Systems Design. I was also a major contributor to a project on Peer-to-Peer
streaming which is fully based on C++ and sockets.
For your reference my GitHub profile can be viewed at:
https://github.com/Kapilks.
I would like to work on "Incremental compilation to increase compiler
efficiency for a Chapel program". I found the theme intriguing and
something I look forward to implement with my past knowledge of Compiler
Design.
Any guidance on the project would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Kapil Kumar Singh
