I don't think Chapel does anything special/specific here and that this is 
strictly a GASNet question (since SSH_SERVERS is a GASNet variable), and 
one that may vary depending on which launcher you use.  I.e., I'd check 
the GASNet documentation rather than ours (start in 
$CHPL_HOME/third-party/gasnet/gasnet*/README, though often these 
launcher-/conduit-specific features will be discussed in the README in the 
subdirectory corresponding to the conduit (e.g., udp-conduit/README).
