Yes, I want to pursue this approach. Currently, the CMO code is in a separate file. I will migrate that into DefaultRectangular. Any help along the way would be much appreciated. What would be the process of obtaining such help? Shoot an email here?
Yes, I think asking questions here would be reasonable. I'll try to answer if I'm in the office and have time, but others may be able to help out if I'm not (and the discussion may be useful to other developers).
Alternatively, we could open a GitHub "feature request" issue to look into merging CMO support into DefaultRectangular and post questions and answers there as you work through it. That would permit those who are interested in helping to subscribe and those who aren't to ignore the conversation.
