Three quick announcements today:
1) We're very excited to have Kathy Yelick (NERSC, UC Berkeley) as our
CHIUW 2018 keynote speaker this year. Her talk is entitled "Why
Languages Matter," and you can read the abstract (along with the rest

2) The release notes for version 1.17 of Chapel are now available on the
Chapel website, providing an in-depth overview of the major
improvements in our April release:

3) This week we released Chapel 1.17.1, a minor release that addresses
a few issues that showed up too late to be included in 1.17.0. See the
