The above pieces are/should be typically provided via distro packages,
since it is very unlikely that any user build provides any benefit.

OK, the answer is very clearly yes, it was yet-another RTFM situation with
just a tiny bit missing.
Will take the above into account for future EB releases, to get the builds
updated to pristine shape.
