Hi all -- I wanted to voice my support for this effort, as there have been user communities who have asked about an Eclipse-based Chapel environment for a long time, yet it's something we haven't been able to staff within the core team. Part of our hypothesis is that the type of online help that Eclipse offers can go a long way to lowering the barrier of learning Chapel for users who are familiar with Eclipse (such as students).
I've never had the opportunity to work in an IDE for more than a few days here or there, so don't have concrete suggestions for directions in which to take this, but if others do, please let Attila know!
