No current such plans that I'm aware of, no. The closest related effort
that I'm aware of was one being done by members of the open-source
community to add Chapel support for Xtext-based editing in Eclipse:

However, this effort hasn't received much attention recently (the
developers happened to mail me today mentioning this and expressing their
hope to have the opportunity to ramp it back up soon).
Yet, unless PTP has changed significantly since the last time I saw it, I
think it is a significantly different direction (?).
