a werewolf novel, isn't it? a classic. read it (& the hobbit, & psycho, & the horror in the museum & other revisions, & a couple of simaks, & i believe an early thomas burnett swann, & at least one hitchcock anthology ... hey, there's not much else to do when you're confined to your bed!) when i spent most of a week in the hospital during my senior year in high school, back near *ack* the beginning of the carter administration ...
