Poker sounds great, long as my hearing aid is turned off. And I beg your indulgence because every so often I have to take off my artificial leg. And you will have to tolerate my seeing eye dog. And I beg of you to every now and then put my glass eye back in because it tends to fall out often, Especially when I am doing something strenuous like sitting. A word of warning about the seeing eye dog, he has a bad habit of running off with my leg. Why once he took it right off me when I was at the pier. Needless to say I made a perfect three point landing in the water. I swear he had a grin on his face as I looked up at him. lost my damn eye too. Hearing aid got wet and heard a swooshing sound for two months. Why once Bert, That's my seeing eye dog, even brought my can of snuff over to me. Unbeknowenst to me he substituted cyan pepper for the snuff. Why I tooks me a great big dollup and things began to happen. Gave off the most God awful sneeze and my glass eye popped across the room. Old Bert grabbed my leg and he was off to the races. There I was hopping around the room cursing Bert, sneezing up a storm when my good foot came down on the glass eye. Went scooting out the door and off the balcony. As it happens Bert was running under the balcony with my leg in his mouth and I landed smack dab on him. He did seem rather contrite after that.
