And now for some shameless self-promotion: this past year I executive-produced my first commercial CD. As the Artistic Director for the Woodbridge Flute Choir in Virginia, I helped the group produce its third commercial recording. Entitled "A Silver Christmas," the album features traditional favorites and new arrangements for flute ensemble, and includes works with harp and piano.
I had a blast producing this CD. I participated in every session, from conducting the group in rehearsals and in recording sessions, to post-production editing, mixing, and mastering sessions. I can't wait until my next producing role!
