The problem is catching them. Police would need dirt bikes themselves.
Then there is the problem of accidents. If one of the dirtballs I mean
bikers got killed during a police chase the police would get blamed
and maybe sued. Similar to if you defend yourself in your home(castle
doctrine), shoot the intruder who dies, then the family can sue u the
home owner.
These dirt bikers will go down alleys, walkways, in between houses. The
police can't do that. It's uncivilized. The best to hope for is that
they get
hit by cars while performing their antics.

When the herds of dirt bikes are once again infesting the streets.
Yesterday I was riding my bicycle when I got knocked down and almost
run over by what I would describe as a stampede of dirt bikes going
against traffic near Howard and North Ave. (closer to 20th street)
A couple of police vehicles showed up and that scared the dirt bikers
away, but I was told by a friend on the commuter train this morning
that the Police in the city dont really chase or arrest these guys who
are obviously breaking the law. Is this true? , because if it is I
find it very disconcerning that an obviously dangerous and
illegal activity (To the people doing it and passers by) such as this
is not being dealt with.
I have heard things like, "There is to many of them" or "Its hard to
catch them"
I mean these dirt bikers have no concern for the cars and pedestrians
around them, damaging property and what not.
Has anyone had any problems with the Dirtbikers?
I have already called the police department and given them a complaint
about it.
