All:

Please distribute the following message to persons living near to JHU's
Homewood Campus.

On Friday, 5/22, a lot of trash from JHU students will be placed outside for
removal throughout the day. It will likely take the better part of the day for
this trash to be removed, so please be patient. This action is part of JHU's
student move out trash removal program, that now has a three year record of
success.

As previously noted, the program operates as follows:

Students are asked to pick from one of the ten hauling dates (three days per
week, between 5/11 - 6/01). Once the requested date is confirmed, students are
instructed to set their items out ON THE MORNING OF THE SCHEDULED PICKUP.
Carrie Bennett, JHU's Student / Community Liaison, and the hauling crew will
remove the material during the scheduled afternoon. Carrie specifically
designates, at each individual address, the best location in which to place the
refuse, usually in the back yards. While the piles may be an eyesore for a few
hours, the items should not be in the way or obstructing any means of egress.
The program is free, and available ONLY to JHU students. Please feel free to
pass this message on to JHU students.

Regards,

Salem
