Kelbie Roofing charged $8000 and included all new flashing. gutters etc. and 
some demolition and rebuilding of the roof on the back of the house.  I could 
have had the old layers removed and disposed for another $2000 but decided 
against it.  

This was for a thicker membrane and longer lifetime and warranty than another 
estimate I had for $4000.  The less thick the material, the less it costs.  
There are probably better deals but I was really desperate at this point and my 
neighbor a few doors down clearly had a great roof so I asked who had done the 
work for them and contacted Kelbie.

The Jim McDonald disaster cost me $2500 for one-third the roof (ended up being 
about 10 feet in reality--he thought I would never go up there to see) which 
all had to be taken up and redone after it finally rained a few times.  See 
below.
