Because we have some!
CVCBD received several tree varieties from TreeBaltimore to plant in both
yards and sidewalks. However it's heating up outside faster than we can find
locations to plant them. If you are interested and a property owner or have
permission to plant in a tree well, please reply to this email. These trees
need to be planted ASAP and watered frequently in order to survive.
Up to the challenge? Good.
We have a handful each of Red Maple, Regal Oak, Eastern Redbud, and
Ornamental Cherries. First come, first serve if you'd like a specific type
of tree. Also, let me know if you need help with transportation and
planting. We can coordinate to have the trees dropped off and shovels
available. This is a great project to coordinate with your neighbors if you
have several empty tree wells on your block. Let's increase Baltimore's tree
canopy!
