Re: Bulk Trash:
Options: Go to Sisson Street dump between 28th and 29th Street and dump off the stuff yourself. Residents are not charged provided you have proof of City residency. Go online to www.baltimorecity.gov and go to Dept Public Works/Bureau of Solid Waste page and look for Bulk Trash Rules. Then, following those rules, call 311 and notify them that you have a bulk trash pickup. This city service is free and is the only way to have a mattress picked up. Go online to www.charlesvillage.org for Bulk Trash rules. You can email Matt Brad by, Sanitation Supervisor at the Charles Village Community Benefits District at the email above or call him at 410-235-4411 but they are not permitted to pick up mattresses and they may be able to help you if you are unable to utilize the 311 service for some reason. There is no charge for CVCBD services other than the annual surtax which property owners pay. I am copying Matt here in case he has some other or different suggestions. Sharon L. Message-ID: <[email protected]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Hello neighbors :) ? Does anyone know who to call in Charles Village to pick up bulk trash?? My roommate is leaving and is in need of getting rid of a queen size mattress, a couch that he cut up to get down the stairs and a dresser. ? I know there is a 311 option but I thought I hear that we can call someone in a neighborhood as a free service. ? If this is true i would love to learn more. ? Thank you! Have a wonderful day.
