We got an estimate from a few places and Lady Baltimore was unwilling to refinish our floors - said they would have to lay down brand new ones (very expensive). Mike Severe ended up giving us a reasonable price and dealing with our beat-up old floors - even replaced about 20 boards throughout and made them match so you can't tell. He is an absolute character, but does great work. Another friend on our block also used him and had great results as well. For the full second story and stairway as well as replacing many boards and other repairs (beyond refinishing) it was somewhere in the neighborhood of $2500 I think...
