YOU are invited to attend the former Barclay Recreation Center’s Community Engagement Night!
WHEN: Tuesday, July 16th from 6:30pm – 8:30pm WHERE: The former Barclay Recreation Center, 300 E. 29th Street (enter through the blue double doors near the playground on 29th street). This session is a chance for you to participate in a community-wide discussion about the future of programming at the former Barclay Recreation Center. The goal of this night is to hear everyone’s opinion as to what they think will best benefit this wonderful space! Also, the new OFFICIAL name for the former Barclay Recreation Center will be unveiled at this meeting. You do not want to miss this historic community event! Breakout groups will be held in various categories, including: Science enrichment, Young Families, Sports & Fitness, The Arts, Social & Community Gatherings, Seniors, Educational Enrichment . Community Artist, Alder Keene, will provide art activities during the session so children are welcome! The community center also really needs donations of small items to make it more functional.
