Just a reminder about the final screening of the Tournées Festival of French
Cinema at Hopkins this afternoon, which will take place at 3:00pm in Hodson
110: a screening of Jacques Audiard’s visceral Rust and Bone, the drama of two
fractured lives--Ali, a burly, stoic bruiser down on his luck, and Stéphanie
(Marion Cotillard), a former whale trainer who has lost her legs in a horrific
accident. Followed by a discussion led by Linda Delibero, Director of the
Program in Film and Media Studies.

The Tournées Festival is made possible with the support of the Cultural
Services of the French Embassy in the US and the Centre National de la
Cinématographie et de l’Image Animée, and by the Florence Gould Foundation,
Campus France USA, and highbrow entertainment.

Festival sponsors include the Johns Hopkins University Department of German and
Romance Languages & Literatures, Program in Film & Media Studies, and Center
for Advanced Media Studies.
