That's really nice!

I remember Stephen Wolfram coming to the
http://dl.acm.org/citation.cfm?id=328877 acm meeting, and Wolfram's product
was impressive even back then.

Of course, it's a bit different from APL and J, but each language has its
own strengths and weaknesses.

My intuition suggests that J (and APL) programmers are going to be better
able to reason about the Wolfram language than people without that
experience. Also, there are going to be some problems which are better
addressed in J and others which are better addressed in WDF. So I can
imagine a fair bit of friendly competition and mutual support with
Wolfram's communities.

It will be interesting to watch this play out.

For myself, though, I've got some work to do. There's never any shortage of
that.
