I understand this is a sensitive topic for some, and I don't want to start
an off-topic debate (even here on chat), but I just wanted to share a
related observation.
According to the FDA [1], due to this specific concern, no common vaccine
(excepting for the flu) has contained any mercury in any over a decade,
and those that did historically contained only trace amounts (by
"historically" I mean more like the 1990s than the 1930s).
There are still some vaccines that contain meaningful amounts of mercury
(e.g. for meningitis) but none of these are administered routinely to
children.
