I've been neglecting jforums lately. But playing with a new toy, I
wanted to ask if others are doing similar things -

Perhaps you can tell from the above that this is j801 running in a Linux
environment on a Banana Pi ( http://www.bananapi.org/p/product.html )
The Banana Pi is a "clone" of a Raspberry Pi out of China. It is a
pretty nice little computer that seems quite well assembled and seems to
work quite well. I chose to put a light version of Ubuntu Linux on it as
an OS mostly because an image was available without a lot of build work.
The J system installed with almost no glitches when I downloaded the
Raspberry Pi package from jsoftware.com - I have my own profiles set up
and am even running some watchdog programs, written in j of course, that
block IP addresses that are doing SSH attacks.
If there is interest/activity with Raspberry (or Banana) Pi in the forum
I would like to hear from people.
Thanks to whoever did the port to ARM that avoided me having to build a
j system from source (which, admittedly, is a lot less daunting than
building a Linux port....)
