Scott

I had a look at the link earlier today and also just now. It's changing
before one's very eyes!

I suspect your 2nd type-test on x should be on y, ie this bit:
if. 8 = typeof x do.NB. should be y???

B =. 1&fc"0 y

else.

B =. y

end.

I run Windows; your code snippet:

elseif. UNAME-: 'Win' do.

   'platform not supported' 13!:8[10

elseif.

suggests Windows doesn't support this development.
Is that the case, or is it just that you're only developing in Linux & Darwin?
Is it feasible to download liblas for Windows? If so, do you know whether
it's just liblas.dll or is more needed?

Thanks,

Mike

So, it took me all of 20 minutes to pull dgemm into J for a matrix multiplication speedup. I stuck it here, along with an org-emacs TODO list for making this actually happen. It's all "busy work" as far as I can tell, though it would be my first time writing code that links to CUDA.

Either way, the dgemm wrapper should eventually make its way into the API stuff, as it's a pretty good speedup over +/ .* for bigger array problems

Feel free to pitch in on the busy work if anyone has problems that would benefit from this.
