Since there is some chatter about education here from time to time, I think this link might interest people involved in such activities:
http://csunplugged.org/ It's a freely available book full of activities about computer science, explained in real world examples, for kids from 6 years and up, and available in a bunch of languages. It also seems to fit in in the general idea of labs like "Arithmetic". Maybe it would be interesting to have a J companion to this book? Jan-Pieter PS: I actually ran into this reading this opinion about the Flemish take on ICT education on a Belgian (Flemish) newspaper's website: http://datanews.knack.be/ict/nieuws/onderwijssysteem-niet-afgestemd-op-mogelijkheden-en-noden-van-hedendaagse-digitalisering/article-opinion-566409.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
