Hello, J programmers, While reading Crystal Society, the new (and first) novel by my son, Max Harms, I came upon a section that was loaded with math. At one point that mathematical exposition even made an oblique nod toward J, so it occurred to me that others here might well like to know about the book.
Max does program in J, but that's of no real relevance to his fiction writing. The aforementioned tiny moment of notational appreciation is certainly not enough to inspire anybody to read the book, but it might add to other interests. I'm finding it a very fun read. If you like your science fiction "hard", i.e. fastidious on technical consistency, you may too. Here's where to get it (at no cost). http://crystal.raelifin.com -- Tracy Harms ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
