Hi Donna

I found the following APL book:

APL the Language and its Actuarial Applications.
(Insurance Series 2)
(D. Stiers, M.J. Goovaerts, J de Kerf)

Will follow up you on your comments.

Regards
Bill

Subject: Re: [Jchat] Introducing J to Financial & Actuarial Students

Most actuaries learn programming on the job. They are interested in solving
particular problems such as reserve calculations or pricing. APL is ideal for
this and thus it is still in use in some insurance companies. I think you could
find a lot of literature about APL and Actuarial calculations that can be
adapted to using J.
