The value of what Rich has done for J (and Jsoftware) cannot be overestimated. His impressing book which was invaluable for me as well, and then came Dissect, followed by Nuvoc and finally, he ended as a chief programmer, filling the shoes of Hui, AFAICS. And surely I've missed his many other, more hidden collaborations, such as his original en efficient solutions to problems.
It definitely made him one of the immortals within J, at least for me, along with Hui and the Iversons. R.E.
