I need to clarify my terms here.

keyindex, n: A passive in-Freenet key index, as defined in Freenet specs.

registry, n: An active in-freenet facility, consisting of a daemon that runs
periodically on one or more machines, harvesting one or more keyindexes and
rendering its/their contents into a more convenient form.

registrar, n: A person or organisation which operates a registry

That is my aim.
I certainly don't want to disadvantage FreeWeb by alienating existing
Freenet users, and I don't have the time or marketing budget to shove new
standards down people's throats. My first name ain't Bill and my surname
ain't Gates :) !

Cheers
David
