The FreeNet FAQ indicates that there is no reason why none-Java FreeNet clients can't exist and I see bits of what looks like might be early versions of libs written in C etc. Is there any stable C or Python libs/programs that would let me run FreeNet without the painful sluggishness of running Java that I currently experience? An easy way to script reads/inserts into my own Python programs would be really nifty but I dunno if I'm so lucky yet. :)
