At some point in the past you mentioned that you installed Linux on your computer. You also managed to configure your email software to work with several different mail services. That does in some way qualify you as at least a low-end computer expert. You could get a job as a customer support person on the phone or email help desk of some ISP, or similar functions (just remember that your most useful and prideworthy skill there is to be always polite and patient even with the greatest idiots). Then you'd get paid, and wouldn't be so terribly dependent on free ISPs anymore. You may also be able to find such a function where you can just work for just a few hours per day, and from your own bedroom if you want (saves you the bus ticket fee and travel time each day, and maybe nobody will ever ask you how old you are). You may also advertise yourself in your local free ads (or 5$ per ad, equally worthy) weekend newspaper rag as an independent aid provider and instructor for everyday computer and configuration problems - even if you aren't perfect with computers, most of your neighbours will appreciate any help they can get. _______________________________________________ Chat mailing list Chat at freenetproject.org http://lists.freenetproject.org/mailman/listinfo/chat
