Quite correct actually, the email is one of several which have been
distributed on a number of list servers. This is the third we've received in
2 days. It is the work of the Nigerian "419" fraud syndicate. We have
forwarded copies to the South African Police. The syndicate has apparently
set up a base of operations in SA, and arrests are continuing (3 this
weekend). However they appear to have launched a veritable email blitz in
the past few days. Please take this seriously: a number of foreign victims
have been fleeced of thousands of dollars.

Ah, a kickback. I know this method well from reading some crazy insane
books writen by a crazy insane guy by the name of L. Ron Hubbard. Totaly
crazy. I think these guys are doing something illegal, and that it was a
bad idea for them to send this message to a PUBLIC email list. Heehe!! I
sure hope they don't get killed or something. :)
